We are convinced that, helping youth to learn more languages offers them significant linguistic, academic and cognitive benefits. It helps strengthen their literacy skills, enhances problem-solving abilities and increases their cognitive competence. It also may provide more choices for advanced education, communication, exposure to more cultures, travel, unique career opportunities and a competitive edge in the job market in Canada and many countries.
Losing a language is akin to an individual losing the cornerstone to their accumulated knowledge, history, culture, experience and diversity. We are offering sessions of the following languages: English and French, Swahili, Lingala, Wolof, Medumba, Amharic, Bambara, Bassa, Ghomala, Douala, Fefe, Fulfulde, Bamum, Fan-Beti , Ndebele and Shona to youth and interested people.
